 Volunteer Role:

Press Play Volunteer

Responsible to:

Volunteer Co-ordinator, Midlands Refugee Project

Location:

Close to Birmingham City Centre

Hours and timeframe:

2-3 hours twice a month. We ask for a minimum commitment of 6 months.

Tasks:

  1. Supporting children to play
  2. Running activities (with support if needed)
  3. Creating a safe environment for children to have fun
  4. Helping children be children

Skills required:

  1. Good communicator especially with children and young people
  2. Experience of being involved with children and young people
  3. Good refugee awareness (we can help you with this)
  4. Good team worker
  5. Can think creatively and have a sense of fun!

Training and support:

We provide training for all volunteers as well as opportunities for ongoing support and supervision
