A big thank you to all of you who took part in Dare to Care - the national campaign to highlight the extent of child poverty in England in the 21st Century and show how volunteering can make a difference and help disadvantaged young people.
The campaign has now come to a close but between October 2007 and March 2008, The Children's Society recruited over 700 volunteers for Dare to Care! Volunteers took part in a range of opportunities including volunteering in The Children's Society retail shops, assisting at the Hundred's and Thousands road shows, helping with the Manchester United ground collection and taking part in The Good Childhood ® Inquiry.
