Holidays

The holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March. The entitlement for new staff is 26 days, increasing to 28 days after 5 years’ service, 30 days after 10 years’ service, 32 days after 15 years’ service and 34 days after 20 years. In addition to the statutory holidays, there are two extra statutory days. Part-time staff and job sharers receive these entitlements on a pro rata basis. Sessional staff are paid an enhanced hourly rate, which includes payment in advance for holidays.

We provide a confidential counselling service to all staff and their families.
